For the Love of Islamic Forms

Bill Bensley , 2024

Acrylic on canvas
120 × 120 cm , 47.2 × 47.2 inch

To the east of Samarkand lies the huge fresh water Lake Issy Kul.
The village of Issyk Kul held a plethora of forms that were distinctly Islamic. Daily Prince William would sketch the forms with dreams of using such forms at home on the Onan while Jirachai would fend off the local women, teasingly, with his very long sword.
