Smokin’ HOT

Samarkand was seemingly an ideal place to make friends if Alex was any indication. William normally wouldn’t find a statue worthy of friendship certainly of respect, or interest, and probably awe in the right situation
but the second commissioned statue of Alexander the Great was astonishing.

Like Sokoun in Luang Prabang, this statue was infused with a spirit. It would awaken if the wind were to blow hard and just right. The cascading hair would fly about its smouldering face, framing those ideal cheeks and deeply seductive eyes perfectly. It made the most wild predictions, while pulling heavily on the blunt it always had hanging from the perfectly pouty lips. Best of all, were the showtunes – all the juiciest Macedonian hits were always on tap.

The litany could continue but we’ll end now to not cause a scene.
William wasn’t sure if the statue or Alex was more smokin’ hot, and spent most of a day pondering the enigma.
